during the month of January i'm going to partake in PitchCankers January art challenge. i may not be able to upload every day what with work n all, but i will try my best. these posts will be darker in nature, but really just saying why i will suddenly become more active. happy new years, hope 2023 will one to remember in a good way <3

Short answer: no, i'm not dead.

I'm still working on a series of drawings of Madness characters in my own interpretation, but it's been majorly put on hold. I was working on Sanford and Deimos and they're actually going pretty well. But i've recently been distracting myself with another idea: a MadCom AU!

Revolutionary, i know, but the basic premise is it's an au where all the characters are biblically accurate angels. Despite that description it isn't all that religious, i just super like angelology. Here's how i'm turning some of the characters:

Hank: the first angel ever made. He's an oraphim and ran away to the mortal plane where he happily spends his days slaughtering corrupted and demonic beings.

Jeb: the crown prince and heir to the throne of creation, Jeb is an egotistic man who thinks the Maker (his father) is a lazy, selfish, and idiotic god. So Jeb often does things on his own with little say-so from Maker.

Tricky: originally a friend and bodyguard of Jeb, he was turned into a Seraph to spend his days in the Makers palace. But with some snide words from Auditor, Tricky was framed to be a traitor of the Maker and was cast out of the palace, now living his life as a crazed fallen on the mortal plane.

Idk, there's lots more characters and there's gonna be more story points but if honestly any of that sounds interesting, i'd like it if you stuck around! :) Don't worry if you don't know anything about angelology, all will be explained and the au is mostly disconnected from any religious texts.
